A Legacy of Magick and Community
The roots of this story reach back to the year 2000, when Lord Azrael founded Magickal Paths of Chattanooga to help unite and uplift the growing Witchcraft community in Tennessee. Over the years, that group became a vibrant space for learning, sharing, and celebrating the Craft. It changed forms many times, took well-earned rests, and continued to evolve in step with the ever-shifting rhythm of the community.
In 2021, Lord Azrael felt called to explore new horizons—shifting his focus from Coven leadership to event planning. This allowed him to support the community in a different way, fostering connection through festivals, gatherings, and shared celebration. By 2023, he passed the mantle of leadership on to a new team, granting the event group room to grow while he turned inward to pursue personal and spiritual renewal.
The Birth of Ravenshire
After a period of reflection, the call of the Craft returned—quiet at first, then unmistakable. The House of Ravenshire was conceived as an entirely new endeavor, separate from previous paths but deeply rooted in the wisdom they brought.
This new House is envisioned as both a Coven and an Academy of Witchcraft, blending tradition with modern practice, education with experience, and magick with community. Its purpose is to provide a space for those seeking to learn, grow, and walk their own path among others who share a reverence for the mysteries.
Currently in its planning phase, The House of Ravenshire is being carefully built with intention and heart. The goal is to breathe life into it within the coming year, and to see it fully awakened by Samhain of 2026—a time of endings, beginnings, and transformation.
